A handbook for celebrants and grieving families written by John Terry Moore. This book has been targeted at practising funeral celebrants who are interested in improving their performance, marriage celebrants and others who are contemplating entry into the funeral industry, and also the general public. This book is also intended as a reference book, on hand in the family home in case the unthinkable happens. In particular, where a family member passes on before their time, regardless of the cause, the book hopefully has the capacity to guide the writing and presentation of the ceremony. The family consequently gains some control over the manner of their loved one’s farewell, and the way they recover from what can be a traumatic event if not handled with expertise and empathy.
