Weddings and funerals: whatever could go wrong? - Live Zoom session

Weddings and funerals are often high on emotion at different ends of the scale. And, no matter how hard and well you plan, things can – and will – go wrong.

In this 2 hour session, you’ll get an idea of what can go wrong, how to prevent things going wrong in the first place, and how to come up with a solution in the time you’ve got.

Weddings:

What would you do if

• the sound system fails 
• the cars are delayed by a half hour 
• there’s a car crash involving the wedding party 
• weather is inclement 
• the venue manager is ill and won’t be there on the day 
• the couple forgets their rings 
• the coordinator of the music is not able to attend 
• someone faints during the love story
• and many more . . .  

Funerals:

What would you do if

• there’s a rogue speaker 
• the funeral begins late and will over-run its scheduled time slot
• the family wants to take several hours to say goodbye at the graveside
• you thought the candles were being supplied by the family but they‘ve forgotten them
• you thought there’d be a side table on which to place items but there isn’t
• there’s no space for flowers on the coffin
• the live streaming has gone awry
• there’s confusion about the order of the music
