Along with weddings, this course also includes ceremonies of Life, Love and Loss.
The Celebrants Training College offers the Cert IV in Celebrancy through on-site courses in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and other major cities, and also via a distance learning program from the comfort of your home.
Both classes are instructed by registered celebrants with over 20 years experience conducting ceremonies and teaching celebrancy, and you will receive an accredited qualification allowing you to practice celebrancy in every state of Australia.
Study with Qualified and Practicing Wedding Celebrants
Choosing to study in the classroom with our qualified instructors, you will undergo three days of intensive face-to-face instruction with an experienced Celebrant, before completing your study and submitting the required assignments from home. Our Celebrancy courses have all been created by Sally Cant, one of Australia’s most knowledgeable celebrants with over 23 years experience as a celebrant, teacher, and published author.
You will have a full nine months to complete the course from the day you receive your course materials, including reference manuals and access to our online training closed Facebook Group.
There are numerous benefits to training in the classroom with a qualified instructor. You will join a class of celebrancy students all motivated to become a high class celebrants, learning together and sharing what you learn to gain alternative perspectives and techniques while being guided and instructed by an experienced teacher that is familiar with the course materials.
Learn How to Become a Marriage Celebrant via Distance Learning
While we highly recommend the in-class study where possible, Australia is a large country, and it is often not feasible for students to make it to the face-to-face training. With that in mind, we have created an online version of the Cert IV in Celebrancy Distance/Online course, which can be studied from any location in Australia.
The course modules and learning materials differ slightly from the compulsory units listed below, and you can find the particulars on the Certificate IV in Celebrancy CHC42608 Distance/Online course page.
In addition to the extensive course materials supplied, you will have access to our highly trained instructors to provide assistance and answer questions, and unlimited use of our online forum where you can interact with other students and teachers.
